Instructions for use
Maintaining Product Flowability:
Due to their lightweight and fine particle nature, hollow glass microspheres are prone to generating dust during handling and processing. To minimize dust dispersion during transfer operations, the following procedures should be observed:
1. Keep the original packaging intact to avoid premature unsealing and dust release.
2.Local exhaust ventilation should be used around the opening when unsealing packages to promptly capture airborne particles. Professional dust removal equipment is recommended for superior performance.
3.It is recommended to use a diaphragm pump (coupled with a slight positive pressure ventilation) to transfer the glass microspheres via a fully enclosed pipeline to a sealed mixing tank. This approach eliminates dust generation at the source. For materials supplied in container liners, a pneumatic conveying system can be employed to transfer the microspheres directly from the container to a storage silo or a batch mixer. This entire process is dust-free and requires no additional dedusting equipment. (For specific equipment selection, we advise consulting with relevant suppliers for professional recommendations.)
4.During the operation, a static eliminator should be used to prevent the accumulation of static electricity from causing particle adsorption or increasing dust.
Product Storage, Operation and Safety
Storage Instructions:
Keep in a dry, well-ventilated indoor environment in the original unopened packaging.
Safety Precautions:
1. Eye Protection: Safety goggles with side shields must be worn during operation to prevent hollow glass sphere from entering the eyes.
2. Respiratory Protection: Wear a safe and effective dust mask.
3. Ventilation: The work area must be equipped with appropriate dust collection or ventilation systems.
4. Refer to MSDS: Refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) provided with the hollow glass spheres.
